A kids sermon take-home sheet from Sunday's message

Extend the Sermon turns one Sunday message into a kids take-home sheet, one of four written pieces pulled straight from that week's sermon. It comes from the same transcript as everything else we make that week, so what a family takes home matches what your pastor actually preached.

Everything we make is yours to post, send, and keep.

A parent catches you by the door on the way out and asks what the kids should be talking about this week. You know exactly what was preached. You just don't have it in a form you can hand over in the ten seconds before the next family reaches you.
So they get a warm answer and an empty car. The ride home is where Sunday either sticks with a seven-year-old or fades, and that's the window you lose when there's nothing in their hands. The message your pastor worked on all week ends in the parking lot.
A take-home sheet is the thing you could have handed over.

What's on the sheet

You pick who the sheet is for in your settings: parents, your kids ministry teachers, or both.
For a parent, the sheet holds this week's story, the big idea in twelve words or fewer, three questions to ask on the ride home, something for a child to draw, and a short note to the parent.
For a teacher, it holds a summary of the sermon, the angle written for children, questions split for ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12, and an object lesson to go with it.
Choose both, and the sheet carries a parents section and a teachers section side by side, so a family and a classroom can work from the same message without you building two separate documents.
Every written piece we make, this one included, follows the voice settings you've saved for your church: tone, audience, denomination, and any custom instructions you've added.

One piece of a full week from one sermon

The sheet doesn't show up alone. That same message also gives you a blog post, a weekly email, and a small-group discussion guide, which makes the take-home sheet one of four written pieces built from a single sermon.
You also get 5 to 7 captioned vertical clips and 9 social graphics, plus social posts for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. That's more than 20 finished pieces, usually ready inside an hour.
Nobody has to remember to ask for the sheet, because it's part of what comes back every week.

Get it ready before it goes home

Once the sheet is back, it isn't locked. Edit it in place, or copy it out as rich text or plain text. You can also share it as a read-only link with whoever needs to see it before it goes home with families.
It downloads as a PDF built in your church's colors, with your logo and fonts, and prints cleanly on letter or A4. Copies are ready the moment you need them for the kids ministry room or the bulletin table.
When the week is ready, "Download everything" pulls the blog post, the weekly email, the discussion guide and the take-home sheet into one zip file, so you're not hunting through four separate downloads on a Saturday night.
